History
In 1986 Sporting Hackney FC was born as part of an initiative to support local young unemployed people in the borough. The club has grown gradually over three decades and moved up the grassroots football pyramid.
The first team has had great success, winning the MCFL Premier League and cup double in 2013/14 and retaining the cup in 2014/15.
The Veterans reached the semi-finals of the London FA Vets cup in 2015 and won Division 3 of the Essex Veterans League in 2018/19.
